PAIS is a true international school.

Paraguayan students comprise about 50% of our student body, while the rest come from diverse parts of the world. We currently have students from:

Our students

At PAIS, cultural diversity is at the heart of our community. The daily opportunity to interact with peers from different countries and traditions enriches the educational journey and creates a warm, inclusive environment—particularly for students who are new to Paraguay and adjusting to a new school.

These meaningful interactions help students strengthen their communication skills, expand their global perspective, and develop respect for cultural, religious, and personal differences. Friendships and collaboration across cultures allow students to grow not only academically, but also personally and emotionally.

This dimension of education is one we actively and intentionally foster at PAIS.

To celebrate our community’s diversity, PAIS honors the national day of each country represented in the school. On these occasions, we hold a flag-raising ceremony and play the national anthem, followed by classroom activities and discussions highlighting the country’s culture and current events.

Each year, our highly anticipated International Day brings the entire community together: students perform on stage, while families share traditional foods and stories from their home countries.

This cherished tradition is one of the most celebrated and well-loved events at PAIS.
